Privacy Policy

1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how CFP Fantasy Football (“Fall Saturdays”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, protects, and discloses information when you access or use our fantasy football platform at fallsaturdays.com and our Fall Saturdays mobile applications for iOS and Android.
Fall Saturdays is a college football fantasy league platform where managers draft college football programs, manage weekly rosters, submit starting lineups, participate in waivers and trades, and compete in head-to-head weekly matchups. By accessing or using our website or mobile apps, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate our fantasy sports services:
- Account & Authentication Details: When you sign in using Sign in with Apple, Google sign-in, or an email magic link, we receive your email address, authentication provider identifiers (such as your Apple user subject identifier or Google account ID), and display name. If you sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we receive the private relay email address generated by Apple.
- League & Roster Gameplay Activity: We record your fantasy football gameplay activity, including league memberships, team assignments, draft picks, starting lineup submissions, Game of the Week selections, waiver claims, FAAB bids, trades, matchup scores, and commissioner league configurations.
- Device Push Tokens & Notification Preferences: If you grant notification permissions on mobile devices, we collect your device push tokens generated via Expo, the Apple Push Notification service (APNs) on iOS, and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) on Android. We also store your per-league mobile notification preferences for waiver claims won, waiver claims lost, completed trades, lineup reminders, on-the-clock draft alerts, and weekly recaps.
- Feedback & Recap Draft Notes: We store any voluntary feedback, bug reports, feature requests, commissioner group chat drafts, or weekly recap notes you submit through the platform.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect solely for the following purposes:
- Fantasy League Operations: Hosting and operating fantasy leagues, conducting drafts, processing waiver claims, managing rosters, and executing trades.
- Scoring & Leaderboards: Ingesting college football game statistics, computing weekly matchup scores and bonuses, and publishing real-time standings.
- Delivering Push Notifications: To send push notifications on mobile devices (such as lineup reminders, on-the-clock draft alerts, waiver claim resolutions, completed trades, and weekly recaps) according to your preferences.
- Authentication & Account Security: Authenticating your identity, managing sessions across our web and mobile apps, securing user accounts, and preventing abuse or unauthorized actions.
4. Push Notifications & Device Permissions
Mobile push notifications are entirely opt-in. We collect and store device push tokens (Expo, APNs, and FCM) only after you explicitly grant notification permissions on your iOS or Android device.
You can manage or opt out of notifications across three distinct mechanisms:
- Device OS Permissions: Disabling push permissions in device OS settings (on iOS under Settings > Notifications > Fall Saturdays; on Android under Settings > Apps > Fall Saturdays > Notifications) stops delivery of incoming push alerts to that device.
- In-App Notification Preferences: In-app notification preferences can be individually adjusted or disabled per event type (lineup reminders, on-the-clock draft alerts, waiver claims won/lost, trade completions, and weekly recaps) per league on the Fall Saturdays mobile app via Settings > Notifications. (Web settings does not configure push notifications, as push token registration is supported on iOS and Android devices only.)
- Account Deletion: Account deletion cascades and permanently removes all stored push notification tokens and preferences from our database.
5. Account Deletion & Data Retention
You have full control over your account and personal data, including the right to delete your account.
How to Delete Your Account
Self-service account deletion is available at any time, except while a multi-manager league draft is actively in progress (to prevent disruption to other league members while a draft is actively underway; deletion can be completed as soon as the draft is finished or reset, or immediately if you are the sole member of the league):
- In the mobile app: Open Settings, scroll to Delete account, and confirm deletion.
- On the web: Navigate to Settings (which automatically redirects to
/login?next=%2Fsettingsif you are signed out, returning you directly to Settings after login), scroll to Delete account, and confirm deletion.
Permanent Identity Removal
When you delete your account, we immediately and permanently erase:
- Your personal profile record, email address, display name, and avatar.
- All authentication credentials, active sessions, and refresh tokens.
- Registered device push tokens (Expo, APNs, FCM) and per-league notification preferences.
- Queued outbox notifications and pending dispatch messages.
Sign in with Apple Token Revocation
When an account created via Sign in with Apple is deleted, the user’s Apple subject identifier is recorded in pending_apple_revocations. Because native sign-in does not capture or store an Apple refresh token, the identifier is retained in our queue but is not automatically revoked with Apple at this time.
Data Retention Exception for League Continuity & Archives
Fantasy football is a multi-player collaborative competition. Erasing past competition records would invalidate matchup outcomes, corrupt standings, and break historical statistics for every other manager in your leagues. Therefore, the following data is retained with your personal identity completely detached:
- League History & Gameplay Records: Completed league transactions, draft history, historical starting lineups, waiver claims, trades, matchup scores, and league standings remain preserved as part of immutable league history. Your personal identity is detached and unlinked, and any teams previously managed by you remain in their respective leagues as unclaimed teams so league continuity is not broken for other members.
- Archived Recaps, Notes & Feedback: Free text previously submitted in weekly recaps, draft notes, group chat summaries, and feature requests or user feedback remains preserved in archives with personal identity unlinked and disassociated from your deleted account.
6. Third-Party Service Providers
We partner with trusted third-party service providers to deliver cloud hosting, authentication, database management, and mobile application services:
- Supabase: Provides cloud database hosting (PostgreSQL), user authentication, and backend infrastructure.
- Apple: Provides Sign in with Apple authentication, Apple Push Notification service (APNs) for iOS device push notifications, and TestFlight beta app distribution.
- Google: Provides Google Sign-In authentication, Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for Android device push notifications, and Google Play Store distribution.
- Expo & EAS (650 Industries, Inc.): Provides mobile app framework runtime, push notification routing, and EAS Update over-the-air deployment services.
- Vercel: Provides web hosting, edge computing, and serverless infrastructure for fallsaturdays.com.
We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal data to third-party data brokers or advertisers.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our platform is not directed to children under 13 years of age (or under 16 where required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us immediately at support@fallsaturdays.com, and we will promptly delete such information.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory developments. When updates are published, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will provide additional notice through our website or mobile applications. Your continued use of the platform following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
